Deon was honored with the presentation of the key to the city of Colleyville, Fort Worth, Texas on 22 November 1998 by Mayor Richard Newton.
Deon had the privilege of ministering at Pastor Steve Hill's church (Heartland Fellowship Church) during his USA tour in 2005. Pastor Steve Hill is well known for the Pensacola Brownsville revival which lasted for five years. Deon is currently affiliated with Pastor Steve in the USA.
Deon was the main speaker at the NCAF 2005 (National Christian Arts Festival) held at Beaula Park.
Deon also ministered at Dr. Nico Landman's church. Dr. Landman is the President of the PPK (Pinkster Protestante Kerk).
Deon had the privilege of speaking at Pastor Nevil Norden's church, Lewende Woord Brumeria.
Deon held the Easter Conference at AFM Parkrand.
Deon was also ordained under Five-Fold Ministries International on 22nd October 2003 by Pastor Harold F. Weitsz.
Deon had the privilege to preach at Dr. Sarel van der Merwe's church in Kempton Park
